La prevenci\u00f3n de riesgos laborales permite evaluar cada puesto para ofrecer la mejor protecci\u00f3n posible y la formaci\u00f3n adecuada a quienes lo ocupan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Es complicado hablar de los <\/span><b>riesgos laborales de la hosteler\u00eda<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> en general, ya que ofrece servicios muy diferentes. Lo m\u00e1s adecuado es, por lo tanto, analizar <\/span><b>las necesidades de cada uno de sus subsectores<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> y los equipos de protecci\u00f3n individual (EPI) m\u00e1s apropiados en cada caso.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #21293C; font-size: 18pt;\">Cu\u00e1ndo es obligatorio el uso de EPI en hosteler\u00eda\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">El <\/span><a title=\"Sector sanitario\" href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/eli\/es\/rd\/1997\/05\/30\/773\/con\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" hreflang=\"es\" ><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">real decreto 773\/1997<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">, de 30 de mayo, establece que los <\/span><b>equipos de protecci\u00f3n individual<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> ser\u00e1n necesarios \u00fanicamente cuando no se haya podido garantizar la seguridad de los trabajadores con las medidas de protecci\u00f3n colectiva y los procedimientos de organizaci\u00f3n del trabajo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Los EPI se consideran, en definitiva, el \u00faltimo recurso que se debe utilizar, ya que no evitan el peligro, sino que <\/span><b>protegen frente a los riesgos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">. No obstante, las particularidades de los puestos de trabajo de hosteler\u00eda hacen que casi siempre sea necesario utilizarlos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Las principales medidas de prevenci\u00f3n de riesgos laborales se establecen en las<\/span> <b>disposiciones m\u00ednimas de seguridad y salud<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">del <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/eli\/es\/rd\/1997\/07\/18\/1215\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" hreflang=\"es\" ><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">real decreto 1215\/1997<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">, de 18 de julio. Por lo tanto, antes de elegir los EPI m\u00e1s adecuados para cada puesto de trabajo es necesario asegurarse de que:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">las herramientas y m\u00e1quinas de trabajo son de calidad, est\u00e1n en perfectas condiciones y se utilizan para el uso para el que han sido dise\u00f1adas;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">los utensilios afilados se transportan y almacenan con precauci\u00f3n y protegidos por sus correspondientes fundas;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">todos los trabajadores conocen las instrucciones de manejo de la maquinaria que necesitan utilizar para desempe\u00f1ar sus tareas;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">la instalaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica ha pasado las inspecciones obligatorias;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">existen sistemas de detecci\u00f3n de contaminantes y humo;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">se realiza una limpieza y desinfecci\u00f3n adecuadas;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">los locales tienen la ventilaci\u00f3n apropiada;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">las instalaciones cumplen con las medidas higi\u00e9nicas;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">se cuenta con un plan de emergencia y evacuaci\u00f3n del que todos los empleados est\u00e1n informados.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #21293C; font-size: 18pt;\">Qu\u00e9 EPI utilizar en hosteler\u00eda<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Seg\u00fan los <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mites.gob.es\/es\/estadisticas\/monograficas_anuales\/EAT\/2023\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" hreflang=\"es\" ><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">datos recogidos por el Ministerio de Trabajo y Econom\u00eda Social<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">, los accidentes de trabajo en el sector de la hosteler\u00eda en 2023 fueron <strong>55.217, una cifra sensiblemente superior a la del a\u00f1o anterior<\/strong>. Las grandes diferencias que existen entre los puestos en el sector constata la necesidad de elegir los EPI de forma personalizada para cada cometido.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 800; color: #FFC72C;\">EPI obligatorios en hosteler\u00eda para cocineros<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Los percances m\u00e1s comunes en las cocinas son quemaduras, cortes, contactos el\u00e9ctricos, resbalones, inhalaci\u00f3n de sustancias t\u00f3xicas, exposici\u00f3n a temperaturas extremas, lesiones musculares o estr\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Los equipos de protecci\u00f3n individual indispensables para chefs, cocineros y ayudantes de cocina son:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>guantes de malla<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> para protegerse de los cortes,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>manoplas t\u00e9rmicas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> para evitar quemaduras al manejar bandejas de horno o cazuelas calientes,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>guantes antifr\u00edo y ropa de abrigo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> ante las bajas temperaturas durante la manipulaci\u00f3n de alimentos congelados dentro de las c\u00e1maras frigor\u00edficas,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>guantes de goma<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> para fregar,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>delantales<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> antisalpicaduras,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>mandiles de corte<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> para utilizar en labores de despiece o de deshuesado,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>tapones para los o\u00eddos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> en cargos expuestos a mucho ruido,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>calzado antideslizante<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> que prevenga resbalones y ca\u00eddas.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=\u00bb1718&#8243; img_size=\u00bbfull\u00bb alignment=\u00bbcenter\u00bb][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 800; color: #FFC72C;\">EPI obligatorios para camareros<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Los camareros, por su parte, est\u00e1n expuestos a resbalones y ca\u00eddas, quemaduras, esguinces o fracturas de huesos, lesiones musculares, cortes o ansiedad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Los EPI obligatorios para este tipo de puestos en restaurantes y bares se centran fundamentalmente en los pies, ya que se requiere un <\/span><b>calzado c\u00f3modo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> que se adapte de forma adecuada sin oprimir y <\/span><b>con suelas antideslizantes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> que eviten ca\u00eddas inesperadas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 800; color: #FFC72C;\">EPI obligatorios en hosteler\u00eda para camareras de pisos<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">El personal de limpieza de los hoteles puede experimentar ca\u00eddas en el mismo nivel o desde altura, golpes con objetos pesados, rozaduras, cortes, contactos el\u00e9ctricos, lumbalgia, fatiga, intoxicaci\u00f3n por inhalaci\u00f3n o trastornos musculoesquel\u00e9ticos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">En la mayor parte de los casos, el riesgo de sufrir estos accidentes se minimiza con el cumplimiento escrupuloso de la normativa en prevenci\u00f3n de riesgos laborales y con la formaci\u00f3n adecuada del personal.
